Ticaga 2.6.0 has been released Return

Posted by Michael Dance on August 5, 2026 22:25

We're excited to announce the release of Ticaga version 2.6.0: a major update centered on community & collaboration tools, deeper email/mailbox integrations and a wave of workflow refinements across the admin panel.

New Extensions & Features

  • Forum Extension — A full community forum built into Ticaga: threads, replies, likes, polls, labels, an Ask & Answer format, and a rich WYSIWYG editor. Forums connect directly to RoadMap and Knowledge Base, so threads can be converted into tickets or KB articles, and are fully multi-brand aware.
  • Analytics Extension — New reporting extension with campaign tracking to help teams understand support performance at a glance.
  • Bug Bounty Extension (paid) — Run public or private bug bounty programs, with a paid plan tier, researcher ranking, and configurable scopes.
  • Conversations — A dedicated messaging layer for internal collaboration, now supporting email delivery and Appointments directly inside a conversation thread.
  • Passkey Support & GDPR Banner Widget — Passwordless authentication via passkeys, plus an embeddable GDPR consent banner for customer-facing pages.
  • Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 Mailboxes — Connect mailboxes via OAuth for native Gmail and Outlook/Graph email sending and fetching.

Collaboration & Notifications

  • Mentions — Mention colleagues, client groups, or roles directly in responses and notes, powered by a new internal Markdown editor.
  • Notifications — System-wide notifications, including Live Chat alerts, keep employees on top of activity in real time.
  • Moderation, built into core — Content moderation (including spam handling) is now a first-class part of Ticaga rather than an add-on.

Enhancements

  • Expanded the RoadMap Extension (Paid) with public board links, Kanban sharing, improved task counts, and changelog fixes.
  • Improved the Appointments Extension with ICS file and webcal URL support, refreshed styling, and integration with Conversations.
  • Upgraded Knowledge Base with SEO improvements and one-click thread-to-article conversion from Forums.
  • Extended Custom Fields to support Forums and public profile display.
  • Rebuilt the Universal Create modal for a faster, more consistent creation flow on desktop and mobile.
  • Added pipe-to-program email delivery for cPanel/DirectAdmin installs, alongside multi-brand outgoing email routing.
  • Employees can now be assigned directly to Departments, and Roles can be optionally disabled for simpler setups.
  • Added an Escalate Tickets workflow for faster hand-off on urgent issues.
  • Introduced a Demo Mode for trying Ticaga with realistic sample data.
  • Delivered numerous bug fixes — session lock issues, password reset flow, Target Number, Nonogram and Playground games — along with an old browser compatibility notice.
  • Continued UI & UX refinements throughout the admin panel.
