Ticaga 2.7.0 has been released Return

Posted by Michael Dance on September 29, 2026 17:34

We're pleased to announce the release of Ticaga version 2.7.0. This release puts security first: it resolves issues reported through our Bug Bounty program and strengthens protections across the platform. It also brings a free edition of Live Chat, new billing and ISP tools, and improvements to hosting and integrations.

We strongly recommend that all customers update to 2.7.0 as soon as possible.

Security

This release resolves security issues responsibly reported to us through our Bug Bounty program. While fixing them, we also reviewed related areas of Ticaga and applied further hardening:

  • Strengthened authorization checks on tickets, attachments and extensions.
  • Updated third-party dependencies with known vulnerabilities.

Special thanks to Vaibhav Anand for responsibly reporting the security issues addressed in this release.

To give every customer time to update, full details of these security issues will be published 90 days after this release.

New Extensions & Features

  • Live Chat, now free: Live Chat is now free to install and use, with Live Chat Pro for advanced features. Every chat session is now a ticket from the very first message.
  • Billing Extension: native invoicing and multi-gateway payment collection.
  • Veriff Extension: agent-triggered identity verification for clients and tickets.
  • Fibre Cafe & TOTSCo Hub Extensions: UK ISP tools for fibre broadband ordering and One Touch Switch (OTS) messaging.
  • Service Status & Ticket Widgets: embed your live service status and a ticket form on any website.
  • Account Recovery: regain access securely when a passkey or two-factor device is lost.

Hosting & Integrations

  • Shared hosting support for real-time features: run Live Chat through Pusher, Ably or Soketi when a WebSocket server isn't available, configured from the new Broadcasting settings page.
  • Calendar sync: Appointments now syncs with CalDAV, Google Calendar and Microsoft calendars.
  • Self-hosted AI: AI Support now works with self-hosted and local LLMs, with smarter suggestions powered by in-database vector search.

Enhancements & Fixes

  • Guests can now attach files when replying from the public ticket page.
  • Attachments are no longer held in quarantine on servers without ClamAV installed.
  • Added an update notification banner so administrators know when a new version is available.
  • SLA Tracking now ignores archived tickets.
  • Improved Live Chat, Bug Bounty and Demo Mode.
  • Fixed CSV exports, update backups, Blesta and WHMCS billing panels, Time Tracking billing, the Importer, SLA reports and the Customisation primary colour.
  • Continued UI & UX refinements throughout the admin panel.
